Skillsmate is hosted as an App on your phone. It does not require full time up links to the system and posts data when a strong signal can be acquired. You can test the Skillsmate status by ???? When logged in and activated simply click record or upload tabs. The GSM in your phone will record your location confirming you were on site.

At the start of each day log into of “working” and at the end or when leaving the site log off and Skillsmate will record the time and locations creating a worksheet, which you ask you Project manager to confirm, this is uploaded for approval by the Organisation. Skillsmate will pay the agreed sum into your account within 24 hours of approval.

Know how much tax is deducted, by the 14th of each month your CIS HMRC tax statement is uploaded to your Accredited Technician archive.

Skillsmate has two highly experienced health and safety consultants and a class leading online training module approved and used by the HSE and accredited by Alcumus safeContractor scheme. Included in your Technician Accreditation is a free training module every Quarter year, and more specific modules can be purchased on the App at the discounted rate of £12.50 per module should you need more. Skillsmate has embedded in it proprietary reporting and recording software which you can access to assess your compliance to Industry best practice. Follow the HSE tab.

Simply post your availability, skills and minimum rate on the Billboard. Claim Expenses. Skillsmate does not manage claims for commuting costs. For costs such as materials, accommodations and the like, first ensure the Organisation approves the costs on the Billboard when accepting works. Enter the costs in the ‘Expenses’ box with a photo of the receipt when submitting the weekly worksheet.
